workplace relations

To be successful businesses, member Clubs need to foster a culture where high levels of employee job satisfaction, work performance and commitment are evident across their workforces.

A club's human resource management systems, particularly policies, procedures and training, should be reviewed and updated regularly, to ensure they reflect best practice and are continuing to underpin such a high performing culture.

Member clubs also need to effectively manage employee issues and claims, as and when they arise, to minimise financial risk to their business, preserve healthy and constructive relationships at the workplace and to protect the reputation of their Club.

The Clubs Queensland Workplace Relations and Compliance team is available to assist member clubs to achieve these imperatives in a professional and cost effective manner.
