Advocacy Summit - 18/8/22
Want to contribute to Clubs Queensland’s advocacy moving forward? Don’t miss our Advocacy Summit in August!

Bookings for this event have now closed. Please email [email protected] to register your interest.

This summit is all about listening to our members and what they consider to be the important issues Clubs Queensland needs to address with government moving forward.

Cast your mind back to October 2020, when the Palaszczuk Government committed to a Club Compact to work through the many regulatory and taxation requests Clubs Queensland had of government. We are now approaching half way through the current term of government and to date, have achieved a lot of regulatory reform.

It follows that we now take the time to report back to members about the reform we have been unable to achieve and importantly, take advice about the matters which industry see as important moving forward.

The summit will consist of:
  • An overview of the priority areas for government;
  • An analysis of what reform Clubs Queensland has and has yet to achieve to date;
  • Feedback session from members; and
  • An overview of how clubs can assist by speaking to their respective state members.
 This complimentary invitation is for two guests per member club only.
